Hey bent im from the manawatu, id say esturys and rivermouths a foxton and tangimoana, also some good spots at himatangi beach anywhere, havent done much surf casting myself i tend to spinfish, asking the locals is always a good option, was down a tangimoana rangitikei river mouth one day havin a look and this maori family had 30-40 good sized.
